Sheffield United travel to Hull this Monday looking to build on a superb Good Friday which saw them move back into the top two.

The Blades saw off Nottingham Forest with relative ease at Bramall Lane to jump back above Leeds and firmly in contention to win a place back in the Premier League.

In what is a crucial game for Chris Wilder's men, there has already been some early team news released which will be of interest for both Blades and Tigers fans.

According to BBC Sport, United are set to welcome back John Egan from suspension, but the game looks to have come too soon for Chris Basham who was hoping to be fit following his injury against Millwall last week.

Billy Sharp too will miss out for United, which will be a big loss for the Blades who could well do with their top scorer as they look to see things home and win promotion.

For Hull, they are set to be without a few crucial players too, with Markus Henriksen and Reece Burke both set to miss out for Nigel Adkins' men.

The Blades can put the pressure on Leeds with a win at the KCom, as Leeds take on Brentford in the evening kick off at Griffin Park.

The Verdict

No surprises for the Blades here in terms of who might be missing, but a big boost to them to see both Burke and Henriksen missing.

Chris Wilder will be hoping his Blades team have enough energy in the tank to see this over the line now after moving into such a strong position, and this is a big opportunity for his team to put some massive pressure on Leeds.
