Dylan Levitt may have returned to Manchester United from Charlton Athletic but that does not mean his days in the EFL this season are definitely over by the looks of things.
The young midfielder was signed by the Addicks in the summer transfer window as Lee Bowyer hastily made signings to bolster his squad after Thomas Sandgaard’s arrival.
However, he never really managed to force his way into the side with several midfielders ahead of him in the pecking order and, duly, Manchester United opted to activate the recall clause in his loan deal.
Even so, he could well head back on loan this month to an EFL club with QPR among those keen.
As per Jonathan Shrager, both Portsmouth and the Hoops like the look of Levitt but the Wales international is currently taking stock after his Charlton move.
The midfielder has been capped by Ryan Giggs in recent times and has hopes that he will be included in their squad for the European Championships, so wants to make the right call now that will give him the best chance of a call-up.
Whether that is play for Manchester United’s u23s or force his way in at one of QPR or Portsmouth, though, remains to be seen.
