Derby County will be looking to dust off the cobwebs this week as the Rams look to end what has been a mixed season on a high.

The Rams have endured a rollercoaster of a season under Phillip Cocu, but they find themselves sitting only five points off the play-offs ahead of the final nine games of the season, whenever they may be played.

In a league where anyone can beat anyone, Cocu will be urging his players to hit the ground running once the season eventually resumes, and getting back up to fitness will be a priority in training this week.

Can you answer these seven Derby County questions correctly?

Duane Holmes was back out on the grass this week as the midfielder looks to return from injury, after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

The 25-year-old limped off injured after only half-an-hour against Huddersfield Town in February, missing the Rams' last four league games as a result.

But Holmes will now be looking to get back to full fitness and get back to his best, as he looks to play a big role in the latter stages of Derby's season.

The tenacious midfielder has recently posted a photo on

The Verdict

The return of Holmes should be a big boost for Derby as they look to ignite an unlikely push for the top-six.

He adds real tenacity and composure on the ball in the middle of the park, and Derby have missed him in his absence.

If the Rams can win their next couple of games, then teams above them should be looking over their shoulders for sure.
