Nottingham Forest have confirmed the departure of Jorge Grant, who leaves to join Mansfield Town on loan for the rest of the season.

The Championship side confirmed the news via their official Twitter account that the 24-year-old would spend the rest of the campaign at the League Two highfliers.

The Stags are fifth in the fourth tier, two points off the automatic places – with two games in hand on most of their rivals.

Forest’s midfielder is no stranger to a loan spell and was on the books of Luton Town during the first half of the season having scored four goals in 22 appearances in all competitions.

Terms at Kenilworth Road came to an end with Grant returning to his parent club before being sent out once more for the rest of the year to Mansfield.

The move comes after Forest rejected an approach from rivals Notts County who were keen to take Grant on loan.

With that said, here’s how the Nottingham Forest supporters reacted to the departure of the midfielder for the remaining portion of the season.
