Leyton Orient have released a new kit on social media, and there has been a mixed response from many of their fans.

The club announced that New Balance will now be creating their kit - which has been described as a "modern twist to one of the traditions of this great club".

The announced kit is different to the traditional plain red at Leyton Orient, and instead incorporates chevrons running down the shirt which have two separate shades of red.

Dream Team have continued to sponsor the shirts.

It's an interesting concept and idea for a kit and one which hasn't really been seen before. It's certainly different, which might be an appreciated change to some Orient fans as their kit tends to be just a plain red.

The O's shared their home kit via their Twitter page and later posted their away kit, which is exactly the same but in blue.

It's been a mixed response from Orient fans, with many fans berating it, calling the kit "horrendous" or "shocking". On the other hand, there is a big portion of fans who are very happy with the kit,  with people saying they "love it" and one even calling it "bespoke".
