Mark Warburton will be reasonably pleased with Nottingham Forest’s start to the Sky Bet Championship season.

Forest have picked up 12 points from a possible 21 so far, and are currently sat eighth in the table, level on points with Sheffield Wednesday in sixth.

This weekend sees Forest handed perhaps their toughest test of the season, with Warburton’s side welcoming Wolverhampton Wanderers to Molineux.

Forest will enter the clash full of confidence having recorded a 1-0 victory over Sunderland on Tuesday, helping them forget the back-to-back defeats against Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday before that.

One thing Warburton changed against Sunderland was his formation, with Forest lining up in a 4-2-3-1 system.

Here at FLW, we believe Warburton should use the same formation against Wolves this weekend, but make one key change to the team to try and put Nuno Espirito Santo’s side on the back foot.

We would take Kieran Dowell out of the number 10 role, brining Zach Clough into the starting XI.

Clough is an exceptional talent and impressed last season during his 14 appearances for Forest, with the 22-year-old scoring four goals and adding two assists.

Our XI sees just one more change from Forest’s victory over Sunderland, with Barrie McKay returning on the wing in the place of Ben Brereton.

Daryl Murphy will continue as a lone striker and will be supported from the left by Ben Osborn, whilst Andreas Bouchalakis and Liam Bridcutt will shield a defence and allow the attacking quartet press Wolves.

Jordan Smith will continue in goal, behind a back-four including Tendayi Darikwa, Matt Mills, Joe Worrall and Armand Traore.
