Charlton boss Lee Bowyer has confirmed that Andre Green will return to the squad for his side’s clash with Blackburn which means the Addicks have a full range of attacking options available.
Green missed out on Charlton’s 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest during the week due to a sore knee but, as per Charlton’s Twitter account, Bowyer has now confirmed that the Aston Villa loanee will be available for the weekend.
This means Green will join the likes of Lyle Taylor, Macauley Bonne, Tomer Hemed and Chuks Aneke among Charlton’s attacking options, with Bowyer now having plenty of options at his disposal ahead of their home meeting with Rovers.
It was Taylor and Hemed who were given the nod in attack when the Addicks travelled to face Forest during the week, while Bonne and Aneke were named on the bench on their return to the first-team squad following their respective lay-offs.
Twitter account Addicks HQ has now asked Charlton fans which attacking combination they would like to see against Blackburn:
It looks like Bowyer will have plenty of strikers available this weekend! 👊
Which partnership would you like to see up top against Blackburn? 🧐 pic.twitter.com/U3GodQYnsE

Plenty of Charlton supporters responded to this tweet by suggesting that Bonne should start alongside Taylor in attack, while others felt Green should be given the nod due to Bonne’s ongoing quest for full fitness.
Here are some of the responses…

Green Taylor and Bonne. Go for the win go for the goals. Lethal in my opinion. 4-3-3. Why not !! Saying that Taylor and Bonne could be the new “killer and Flash” without the fight though. !!!
