QPR will be looking to chalk up a big three points this weekend as they take on Burton Albion in the Championship.
The Rs haven’t had the best campaign they have ever had this season in the Championship and that is mainly down to inconsistency and poor away form.
Even so, they cannot dwell on what has gone on and still need to try and get a big three points against the Brewers in order to keep the relegation battle at arms length.
That is what Ian Holloway will be planning to do this weekend, then, but he will have to do it without Jordan Cousins and Paul Smyth.
Indeed, as per West London Sport, both players are set to miss the clash thanks to injury and so Holloway will have to work out a way of winning the game without needing either.
Cousins has got another hamstring issue to content with whilst Smyth – who has been in the side recently – has got a thigh complaint.
One positive, though, is that Massimo Luongo should be fit after being rested for the FA Cup clash last time out.
Holloway will be used to dealing with Cousins’ injury issues as one of his hamstrings once again lets him down.
Smyth, meanwhile, will feel unfortunate after getting himself in the team in recent weeks.
