Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips has issued a message to the club's fans during their pre-season tour to Australia.

The Whites landed in Perth over the weekend and they have so far spent the trip preparing for their friendly matches against Manchester United and Western Sydney this week.

Phillips has made the trip with the Whites' squad despite being the subject of intense transfer speculation this summer, with the likes of Aston Villa, Wolves and Tottenham Hotspur thought to be keen on his signature.

Villa are believed to have seen their £20million offer for the defensive midfielder rejected, while Champions League finalists Spurs have now also entered the running for a player Leeds reportedly value at £30million.

The 23-year-old has now taken to the Leeds' Twitter account while out in Australia, and he has thanked fans for attending the squad's open training session:

Many Leeds supporters responded to the video message, with many of them urging the Whites to not sell one of the club's key men.
