Football League World's Charlton Athletic fan pundit Kieran Keogh has given his views on the recent rumours linking Addicks forward Macauley Bonne with a January move away from the club.

According to Talksport, Newcastle, Leicester City and Fulham are all rumoured to be interested in acquiring the services of the 24-year-old hotshot.

Bonne has been in fine form since arriving from Leyton Orient this summer, scoring six goals in 15 games, in what has been a bright start for the former Colchester United man.

It is unsurprising that his form has attracted potential suitors, however it remains to be seen if the south London club will indeed cash in on the player or not.

We caught up with Keogh earlier this week to discuss the speculation and here is what our Charlton fan pundit had to say:

"Charlton wouldn't let Bonne leave so early into his time at The Valley and I think Macauley himself enjoys it here.

"Lee Bowyer is also a key factor in Bonne staying, he is always saying how he will improve Macauley and so far he has stuck to his word.

"It’s obviously possible, but I don't think it will happen anytime soon as he won’t be guaranteed game time at a lot of clubs.

"Whereas here he has made himself a first-team regular and since coming in for Lyle Taylor, he has done a great job."

The Charlton fan pundit then detailed how much he see's the player being valued at in today's market:

"I would say if he was to go now it could be around the £1.5 - £3 million mark due to his lack of experience in the EFL.

"I don't think it would be a good choice to leave Charlton right now."

It would certainly be interesting to see if Charlton's hand was forced to sell the striker, as we know money talks in football nowadays and every player has a price.

However with the new owners in place in the form of East Street Investments, the club will be quietly confident of holding onto Bonne.
