Swansea City winger Wayne Routledge is facing an uncertain future at the Liberty Stadium, as the 2018/19 begins to draw to a close.

The 34-year old has been one of the Swans' better players this season, scoring four goals and producing two assists for Graham Potter's side in 24 appearances this term.

The experienced wide-man is out of contract at the end of the season, with reports claiming that Potter was keen to keep the former QPR winger at the club beyond this campaign.

But despite admitting that he wants to stay in South Wales after this season, the former Newcastle man has now offered a cryptic update on his future at the Liberty Stadium.

The 34-year-old took to Twitter, to post a single emoji that has left plenty of Swansea fans worrying about the player's future at the club, after implying that decisions from higher up in the club have affected things.
