It’s set to be another jam-packed Championship when the new campaign rolls around in August.

A whole host of Championship clubs will be ready and raring to go when the new campaign does eventually start in a couple of months time and joining the sides in the division from last season are some particularly strong teams from League One.

Coming up from the third tier are Sheffield United, Bolton Wanderers and play-off Champions Millwall.

Sheffield United won the division with ease, whilst Bolton more than did their bit too as they finished second to Chris Wilder’s rampant Blades.

But there’s one team that haven’t been given much thought at all following their promotion and that’s Neil Harris’ Millwall.

Whilst people haven’t been tipping them to return straight to League One, some don’t believe they’ll do that well in the slightest.

But here at the FLW, we think the Lions could be one of the surprise packages to watch out for over the coming campaign.

They did a great job of negotiating the play-offs and the additions of George Saville and Jed Wallace last week showed that they are not here to make up the numbers.

They’ve got experience running through their side in the likes of Steve Morison and with Millwall playing legend Harris at the helm, there’s every chance they can do well next time around.

What defines doing well for the Lions though? Safety? A top ten finish? Well, if they can continue the good summer business and keep some of the better players already on their books, then they could be set for the top-six, if their home form is particularly good.
