West Brom will be hoping that the summer sees them planning for a Premier League return.

The 2019/20 campaign is currently on hold due to public safety, with the Baggies sat second in the table and well placed for promotion, whether that’s through playing the remaining nine games of the season or on sporting merit.

In the event of planning for the Premier League, a number of players’ futures at the Hawthorns will come into a little bit of doubt.

Sam Field is one of those – the 22-year-old midfielder with 40 Albion appearances under his belt, but a player that was shipped out on loan by Slaven Bilic back in the summer.

Charlton Athletic was his destination, but he hasn’t got that full 46-game campaign under his belt like some will have hoped.
