Bristol City have confirmed that they have completed the signing of free agent Danny Simpson on a deal until the end of the season.
Simpson, a former member of Leicester City’s famous Premier League title winning squad, had been without a club after leaving Huddersfield following just a single season with the club last summer.
The defender had recently trained with another Championship side in the form of Sheffield Wednesday, but has now secured a deal elsewhere in the second-tier.
It was announced on Friday night that Simpson has signed a deal with Bristol City that will keep him at Ashton Gate until the end of the current campaign, reuniting the 34-year-old with one of his former Leicester managers, Nigel Pearson.
