Leeds United are lining up a swoop for Barnsley striker Tom Bradshaw, according to Football Insider.

Would the Welsh international be a shrewd signing for the Whites?

We discuss.....

Ben Barkworth

Leeds need to prioritise getting hold of a prolific goalscorer first and foremost, so this move doesn't suit them.

There is the connection between Bradshaw and Heckingbottom from their time at Barnsley, but Leeds really should be looking elsewhere.

Don't do it Hecky,

Jay Williams

Bringing Bradshaw in would definitely be a step in the right direction for Leeds as last summer's policy of signing unproven foreign players to replace Chris Wood clearly did not work.

This is clearly Paul Heckingbottom's idea as he brought Bradshaw to Barnsley.

However, I still believe McBurnie would be a better signing than his team mate Bradshaw, and he would be cheaper.

Gary Hutchinson

I'm beginning to wonder if there will be a morning I wake up and don't find out Leeds are chasing somebody new.

Of course Tom Bradshaw would be a good signing, not a brilliant one, but certainly a step in the right direction in terms of recruitment.

George Dagless

Well it could really pay off.

Bradshaw excelled under Heckingbottom for the first part of this season before Barnsley started to wobble and lose form.

However, if he could reignite that at Leeds he'd surely score more goals with the creative players the Whites have.

Chris Gallagher

They should be aiming higher.

He is a decent player and has done okay at Barnsley but he's not the prolific striker that Leeds need.

They haven't replaced Chris Wood who scored the goals to fire them into contention the top six and he won't do that either.

Alfie Burns

Heckingbottom is clearly looking to get players on board that he has worked with before, but I’m not sure Bradshaw has what it takes to be a success at Elland Road.

12 goals across all competitions this season is a good return, but no better than someone like Kemar Roofe.

For me, Leeds need to be targeting a little bit more quality.
