It has been officially announced that Doncaster Rovers have signed Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Tommy Rowe on a permanent basis.
The news comes after Doncaster Rovers relegation to Sky Bet League Two, with Darren Ferguson making early preparations to help the South Yorkshire bounce back to League One at the first time of asking.
Tommy Rowe is a reliable performer for Darren Ferguson having previously played under the management of Ferguson at Peterborough United.
Having struggled to make an impact at Wolves and having limited opportunities to perform for Kenny Jackett’s side. Tommy Rowe was given the opportunity to leave temporarily on loan in the winter transfer window.
Darren Ferguson was quick to move in the transfer window and bring in the box to box midfielder. Tommy Rowe performed well as he scored three times in ten appearances for the struggling Doncaster Rover side.
It has now been confirmed that Doncaster Rovers have signed the Wolves midfielder permanently on a three-year contract.
