Walsall talisman Tom Bradshaw has put an end to speculation surrounding his future by committing his future to the Saddlers, the Express & Star have reported.
The 22-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a deal which will see him stay at the Banks’ Stadium until 2017.
Bradshaw was in prolific form last season and netted 20 goals in 37 games in all competitions, despite missing in large parts of the campaign due to a hamstring problem.
News of the contract extension will come as a major boost to the Saddlers faithful, who had feared they would lost their most influential striker.
Bradshaw was happy to stay in the West Midlands however and is delighted with his new deal.
He told the Express & Star: “I am over the moon with the extension.
“It was a great year for me personally last season and there is no reason why, as a team, we can’t be challenging for the play-offs this time around.”
