Swindon Town have sealed a deal to re-sign Norwich City midfielder Louis Thompson on a loan deal until the end of the season, the League One club have announced on their official website.
The 21-year-old spent four months on loan at the County Ground earlier this season, and after returning to the Canaries at the start of the month he has now put pen to paper on another deal.
This will be the 21-year-old’s fourth spell with Swindon, after he successfully spent last season on loan at the Robins.
Thompson also began his career at the Wiltshire club, coming through the academy and establishing himself as a young first-team talent before joining Norwich in September 2014.
Howeve, despite his move to East Anglia, Swindon remain the only club for which Thompson has made a senior appearances, as he has spent the vast majority of his Norwich career back on loan at his former club.
In total, Thompson has scored seven goals in 90 matches for Town, including scoring twice in 14 appearances earlier this season.
