The League One side are desperate for a goalkeeper after Lawrence Vigouroux and Tyrell Belford have been sidelined with injuries.

Vigouroux, who is on loan from Liverpool sustained a leg injury at the start of last month in their draw against Millwall, while Belford picked up a knock this week.

Swindon boss, Luke Williams has had to act immediately to bring in a temporary replacement. The club have been given an exemption to bring in the Norwich shot-stopper on a short-term loan.

The goalkeeper will link up with fellow Norwich teammate Louis Thompson, who is also on loan with the Wiltshire side.

Kean joined the Canaries last summer on a free transfer and is yet to make a senior appearance at Carrow Road.

The 25 year old joined Colchester United in January on an initial 28-day loan, making five appearances for the club.

The shot-stopper is expected to start against Bury at the County Ground this weekend.
