Celtic have completed the signing of Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Dorus De Vries on a two-year-deal, the club have confirmed on their official website.
The 35-year-old shot-stopper, who spent the 2006/07 season in Scotland with Dunfermline, will be reunited with Brendan Rodgers, whom he worked closely with during his time at Swansea City.
After four years at Swansea, the former Beverwijk youngster moved to Wolves and has been at Forest for the past three campaigns.
He suffered an injury in his former sides’ opening day win against newly-promoted Burton Albion, but is expected to get over that ankle setback in a couple of weeks.
And Rodgers has confirmed that De Vries will provide stern competition for current Hoops’ number one Craig Gordon.
