Struggling Sky Bet Championship side Rotherham United have secured a loan deal for Norwich City striker Carlton Morris, according to an official club statement.

The 21-year-old striker has temporarily left Carrow Road having failed to make a single appearance in the Championship for Norwich so far this season after breaking into the first team under Alex Neil.

Alex Neil feels that a loan move could be the perfect opportunity for Morris to have a run of first team games and regular playing time at a high level.

Morris joins Rotherham United who are currently rooted to the bottom of the Championship, eleven points adrift from safety.

The young promising striker will be ineligible for Rotherham United's clash with Nottingham Forest, however, he could make his debut as early as Saturday against Bristol City.
