Reading have confirmed via their official website that young midfielder Jack Stacey has joined Carlisle on loan until the end of April.
Stacey, now 19, has been with Reading since he was 7 years old, and makes the move North in search of first team football between now and the end of the season.
The talented midfielder enjoyed a similar spell with Barnet earlier in the season, and will be hoping to prove his worth to the hierarchy at the Madjeski to try and build on his 6 first team appearances going into next season.
Stacey has been a regular however for the under 21 team with Reading, and despite not quite breaking into the first team as he would have liked, he will harbor hopes of a more productive campaign next term.
With Reading just about clear of any threat of relegation and their season seemingly fizzling out to nothing, it will give Stacey a chance to experience the thrill of a promotion run in, with Carlisle just outside the play off places in League Two but with a game in hand.
