Chelsea forward Lucas Piazon has joined up with London rivals Fulham in a loan move, the club have confirmed.
The Brazilian Under-23 international joins until January 2017 and will go straight into the Fulham squad for their game against Birmingham City after the international break.
Highly-rated Piazon has plenty of admirers but has never quite lived up to expectation at the Bridge and he’s been on various loans to try and break into the first-team.
He spent the second half of the 2012/2013 on-loan with Malaga where he picked up some valuable Champions league experience before spending time with Vitesse Arnhem the season after.
In recent years, he’s also spent time with Eintracht Frankfurt and most recently with Reading, whom he featured 27 times for last season. He scored on five occasions for the the Royals, one of which came in their 4-2 defeat to current side Fulham.
With Fulham sitting second in the league, manager Slavisa Jokanovic will hope the Brazilian can add a little more quality to his side, who are now pressing for promotion come the end of the season.
