Preston North End have announced the capture of Aston Villa’s young striker Callum Robinson on loan until the end of the season, after the youngster ended his loan spell at Bristol City, where he struggled to get first-team football.
Robinson joins a Preston side who have moved all the way up to 15th in the Championship table, after a Jonson Clarke-Harris 94th minute own goal gifted them all three points against a struggling Rotherham United side.
This will not be the first time the 20-year-old prospect will be visiting Deepdale, with the striker having spent the entirety of last season with North End, making 28 appearances in all competitions, and also notching seven goals in the process.
Preston fans will by no means be disappointed that their side has managed to bring back such a talented young player for the remainder of the season.
Simon Grayson’s side currently sit in 15th place having accumulated 31 points from 25 league games, in what has been an impressive season so far for the Lilywhites.
