Lincoln City have swooped to land a duo of players from Peterborough United, the club's official website has confirmed.

After winning promotion to the Football League last season, Lincoln City have moved to bring in Harry Anderson and Michael Bostwick from Peterborough United.

Lincoln City have shelled out an undisclosed fee to capture these two players from League One outfit Peterborough United.

The Imps have pulled off a major coup by securing a deal for Michael Bostwick.

The 29-year-old was Peterborough's captain and won their Player of the Year award for the 2016/17 season.

Boasting vast experience of lower league football, Bostwick is comfortable playing anywhere across the defence or midfield and this versatile star is a very shrewd acquisition for Lincoln City.

Lincoln have snapped up the former Stevenage man on a two year deal.

Alongisde Michael Bostwick, Lincoln City have also agreed a deal to bring Harry Anderson back to the club.

Anderson previously had a spell on loan at Sincil Bank but now he puts pen to paper on a permanent deal with the club.

The 20-year-old was impressive for Lincoln in their National League triumph last season and fans will be hoping for more of the same in League Two next season.

The exciting young winger has signed a three year deal with Lincoln City ahead of their first campaign back in the Football League.
