Sky Bet League One club Oldham Athletic have boosted their squad ahead of Saturday’s long trip to Gillingham by borrowing Burnley duo Daniel Lafferty and Cameron Dummigan, according to Clarets’ official website.
Lafferty is a 26-year-old left-back and boasts Championship experience already having spent most of last season on loan with Rotherham United.
During his time with the Millers he made 11 appearances for the club and helped them to Championship survival in their first season back in the second tier.
The Northern Ireland international has recently returned from a niggling collarbone injury and is seeking regular first-team football.
The Latics second loan swoop from the Championship comes in the form of Development Squad striker Cameron Dummigan, who like Lafferty also joins on a one-month loan.
The Northern Ireland youth international is out of contract at Turf Moor in the summer and will no doubt be keen to impress during his first loan spell to offer a timely reminder to his parent club of his abilities.
