Nottingham Forest striker Tyler Walker has joined Port Vale on loan until the end of the season, the club have confirmed.

Walker spent the first half of the 2016/17 season on loan with League Two side Stevenage, he scored 4 goals in all competitions in 9 outings for Darren Sarll's side, including bagging 2 on his debut in a 6-1 drubbing of Hartlepool United.

Tyler Walker currently has 21 league appearances for Forest to his name, with his only Championship goal coming in a 2-2 draw at Brentford.

The forward is regarded as a bright talent at the City Ground, not just because of the talent he possess, but because he's the son of former Forest defender Des Walker, who spent 10 years with the club across 2 spells.

The 20-year-old also spent time on loan with Nigel Clough's Burton last season, helping them win promotion from the third tier by scoring 1 goal in 6 league games.

Walker joins Chris Eagles and Callum Guy who joined Port Vale earlier this week, Vale are 15th in the league table 6 points above the drop zone and will be hoping not be dragged into a relegation battle.
