Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Rangers winger Barrie McKay on a four-year deal, their official site has confirmed.

The 22-year-old attacker has chosen to join up with former manager Mark Warburton once again in a deal worth around £500,000 and he becomes the Reds' second signing of the summer, joining McKay's fellow countryman Jason Cummings at The City Ground.

The tricky winger decided not to extend his contract with Rangers resulting in boss Pedro Caixinha forcing him to train with the academy, before making the move to the East Midlands.

The deal is a tremendous coup by Mark Warburton and Forest Director of Football Frank McParland and McKay will be a welcome addition to the Reds' already strong attacking arsenal.

Quick, skilful, an eye for a pass, comfortable using both feet and the ability to score from long range, Forest fans can certainly be excited about the arrival of this hugely talented youngster.

The 22-year-old could be a real menace in the Sky Bet Championship next season and he could quickly establish himself as a key figure in Mark Warburton's side.

McKay will now fly to America to meet his new teammates who are currently on a training camp in Florida.
