Done Deal: Norwich City seal another summer signing

Norwich City have completed the signing of left-back James Husband from Middlesbrough for an undisclosed fee, their official site has confirmed.

The 23-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Canaries and becomes new manager Daniel Farke’s sixth summer signing since joining the club.

The young defender is already very experienced at Championship level after playing for Doncaster Rovers, Boro, Fulham and Huddersfield and he also made his Premier League debut last season.

Norwich boss Daniel Farke is expected to implement an attacking brand of football after his days as a coach at Borussia Dortmund and Husband, a defender who enjoys getting forward and whipping in crosses, is a perfect addition for next season.

Husband has struggled to nail down a starting spot during his time at Middlesbrough with experienced full back George Friend keeping him out of the side but at Norwich the 23-year old could finally make a name for himself by playing every week.

Norwich City had a season to forget last season after finishing in eighth position with the Canaries expected to push for an automatic promotion spot, but they certainly have a reason to be optimistic about the next campaign with a new manager and six new players.

Norwich City fans… Are you happy with the signing of Husband? Have you been impressed with Farke’s transfer business so far? Who else could join the club? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
