Done Deal: Norwich City defender secures move to London Road

Norwich City defender Harry Toffolo has joined Peterborough United on loan until the end of the season, the club has confirmed.

Toffolo, a 20-year old left back, has made just a single Capital One Cup start for the Canaries this season, so it is clear he is not part of Alex Neil’s first-team eleven.

The Englishman has also been capped up to international Under-20 level, where he has played four times for the Three Lions.

Toffolo spent last season on loan at Swindon Town, and helped them reach the League One play-off final, where they lost 4-0 to Preston North End.

The youngster impressed there so much that his loan extension was funded by the Swindon Supporters’ Trust.

He has recently returned from a loan spell at Champioship side Rotherham, who currently sit 21st place.

Peterborough are having an excellent season so far, and currently sit in sixth place, inside the play-offs and eleven points off the automatic promotion places.

Peterborough fans, what do you think? Is Toffolo the signing you need to take your season to the next level? Can he get you promoted to the Championship for next season? Let us know in the comments box below!
