Done Deal: Northampton bring in former Oxford midfielder

Northampton Town have signed former Oxford United midfielder Danny Rose on a free transfer, the club have announced on their official website.
The 27-year-old left the Cobblers’ promotion rivals by mutual consent earlier on deadline day, and the League Two leaders have moved quickly to secure the services of the midfielder until the end of the season.
Former Manchester United academy prospect Rose played nearly 150 games across three spells for Oxford, and Northampton manager Chris Wilder admitted that he was thrilled to get the chance to bring the midfielder to Sixfields.
Northampton currently sit top of League Two, 11 points clear of the highest play-off spot.
