O’Sullivan is a midfielder is very highly-rated and has represented Wales at a number of youth levels, including the under-21 squad, were he has played eight time and scored two goals. He has also spent time on loan with Port Vale in two separate spells, playing five times.

Barnum-Bobb is a defender who has already played for Cardiff’s first-team, playing two League Cup games since making his debut in 2014. He spent time with Watford as a schoolboy but was released by the club before joining the Bluebirds.

Newport have had a difficult start to the season and currently sit bottom of the Football League with just one win from their opening 12 games.

Additionally they have already replaced their manager after Terry Butcher, who was only appointed himself in April, with Sheridan.
