MK Dons have signed Wigan Athletic defender Jack Hendry on a loan deal until January, the club’s official Twitter feed has confirmed.
The 21-year-old signed for the Latics from Partick Thistle in September 2015, before going out on loan to Shrewsbury where he played six times in League One that season.
Following the Dons’ relegation to League One in the last campaign, Karl Robinson has been busy, bringing in 12 new players in order to freshen up the squad and try to win promotion back to the second tier.
The club have already brought in Scott Wooton and Paul Downing in the centre-back position from Leeds and Walsall respectively, with Robinson preferring Downing and Joe Walsh in their last match, a 2-0 defeat to Peterborough.
He’ll do well to displace those, but has experience at this level and is highly thought of at the DW Stadium. He also provides some much needed competition for places at Stadium:MK
