Sky Bet League Two side Leyton Orient have this evening confirmed on their official website the signing of French striker Ulrich N’Nomo.
The Cameroon-born striker was playing his football for La Berrichonne de Châteauroux in the Championnat National – France’s third tier.
The 20-year-old scored five goals in 23 appearances for Châteauroux last season, and hopes to kick on and score more goals at Leyton Orient. He puts pen-to-paper on an initial one-year deal with the East London club, with the option of extending that for a further year.
The France Under-20 international has also represented his nation at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 level. For the Under-20 side, N’Nomo has netted two goals in his five games.
He predominantly operates as a striker, but the pacy forward can also play on the wing.
N’Nomo completes his move to Andy Hessenthaler’s side, following the release of young attacker Scott Kashket earlier in the day. The 20-year-old academy graduate subsequently joined Wycombe Wanderers.
