The official Limerick FC Twitter account has confirmed that defender Paudie O’Connor has left the club to join Leeds United.
Paudie O’Connor has recently completed a short trial at Leeds United and has now officially put pen to paper on a deal with the Yorkshire outfit.
The 19-year-old swaps the Airtricity League for the Sky Bet Championship and is expected to slot into the Leeds United under 23 side to start with.
Limerick FC’s official Twitter account wished Paudie O’Connor well with his move after three years of service to the club.
The young Irishman also took to Twitter to post a couple of messages.
He sent a message of gratitude to his old club Limerick FC and also expressed his excitement at joining Leeds.
O’Connor tweeted that he was “delighted” to pen a Leeds deal and excited to start his “new adventure”.

There is no official word from Leeds United as of yet which will suggest how long his deal is for.
