Sky Bet League One club Bradford City have bolstered their attacking arsenal by securing the services of Rotherham United striker Jordan Bowery, the club has confirmed on their official website.
The Bantams take on Scunthorpe United tomorrow and have moved quickly to add to their ranks following an injury to influential striker James Hanson.
The Nottingham-born forward Bowery has penned a loan deal with the West Yorkshire club that runs until January 2, and Bowery will be available tomorrow.
A powerful forward with an eye for goal, he began his career at Chesterfield, where a string of fine performances tempted Premier League outfit Aston Villa to sign him.
He made just 22 appearances at Villa Park in two seasons and subsequently joined the Millers for a club record fee in 2014.
First-team football has proved hard to come by this season for the striker – he has made just eight appearances this term, with the majority coming as a substitute.
