Done Deal: Ipswich Town secure deal for Premier League midfielder

Published

on

Ipswich Town have added another player to their squad for the upcoming Championship campaign by bringing in Conor Grant on a season-long loan from Everton, with the deal being announced on the official website.

Grant, who spent time out on loan in League 1 with Doncaster Rovers last season, becomes Mick McCarthy’s 4th new signing of the summer as the Tractor Boys look to improve on last season and reach the Championship play-off positions.

Highly regarded by Everton, the Toffees see the need for Grant to step up to the Championship for his next phase of development before competing for a place at Goodison Park.

It has been a busy couple of days for the Suffolk club, who also signed Grant Ward on a permanent deal from Spurs just a few days ago. Conor Grant will be in line to make his debut for Ipswich when they play host to Barnsley on Saturday afternoon.

Ipswich fans…What do you think? Is Grant a good signing? Do you expect to see more activity from your side during this transfer window? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
