Hull City have signed their long term goalkeeping target Dusan Kuciak from Legia Warsaw, the club’s official website has confirmed.
The 30-year old ‘keeper has made almost 90 appearances for both Zilina and Vaslui, before moving to Warsaw and making 131 appearances.
Born in Czechoslovakia, the keeper decided to represent Slovakia and has made ten appearances for the nation.
The Tigers have been fairly quiet in this transfer window, and with Jordan Rhodes having confirmed his move to ‘Boro and Ross McCormack looking like he will stay at Fulham, this could mark the end of their spending.
Although Allan McGregor has played every single Championship minute this season, they don’t have much cover for him. Kuciak will bring that and international experience to the Championship leaders.
Hull have 56 points so far this season, and are one point ahead of Middlesbrough having played an extra game.
Hull fans… what do you think? Is Kuciak the right man to be used as cover for McGregor? If he was to get injured, would Kuciak be able to see you into the Premier League? Let us know below!
