Fulham midfielder Larnell Cole has joined Inverness Caledonian Thistle on-loan, the club have reported.
The deal will see the former Manchester United academy product go to Scotland until January, where he will hope to get a decent amount of playing time under his belt.
Former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen brought Cole to Craven Cottage during his spell at the club in January 2014 and he made his debut against his former club a month later, coming on in a 2-2 draw.
But since then, he’s failed to make a first-team appearance and looks to be surplus to requirements under current manager Slavisa Jokanovic, just as he was under Felix Magath.
But he made progress last season when he was sent to League One outfit Shrewsbury Town on a year-long loan deal, making 34 appearances and scoring three goals too.
It was in Shropshire where he perhaps showed the best form of his career and Jokanovic obviously sees something in the 23-year-old that some might have missed in the past.
