Championship club Fulham have today completed the double signing of goalkeeper Andy Lonergan and midfielder Ben Pringle.
The Whites’ official website confirmed this afternoon that the two players will join the club on free transfers when their contracts end with Bolton Wanderers and Rotherham United respectively.
Left-footed Pringle and commanding stopper Lonergan have both put pen-to-paper on two-year contract, with an option of an extra year held by the club.
The Newcastle-born midfielder was in fine form last season as the Millers secured Championship survival with one of the lowest budgets in the league.
Pringle had been at the Millers since 2011 when he joined on a free transfer from Derby County
Lonergan makes the move from the Macron Stadium and Kit Symons has beaten off competition from Nottingham Forest and Wolves for the stopper, who was impressive for the Trotters last season.
In a three-year stint with the Lancashire-based club, he made 51 appearances.
