Togo international Floyd Ayité has today signed for Fulham on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee, the clubs official website reports.

Ayité, who arrives at Craven Cottage from French Premier League side SC Bastia, has been capped nineteen times by Togo, scoring three goals.

After starting his career at French giants Bordeaux, Ayité moved to Reims in 2011, where he would go on to spend three years, making 73 appearances and scoring an impressive 10 goals.

Following this impressive spell, Ayité earned a move to SC Bastia, the 27-year old spent two years at the club, making 53 appearances and scoring 14 goals.

The Fulham faithful will be hoping that Ayité can provide the Cottagers to a much higher placed finish than the misery of last season, as they narrowly avoided relegation. To put it into the perspective that just a few years ago Fulham were an established Premier League club, this is a remarkable fall from grace.

However, so far they have managed to keep hold of star talisman Ross McCormack, who’s 21 league goals almost single-handedly kept Fulham in the Championship last term.

Fulham have already lost Moussa Dembele in this transfer window, however all associated at the club will be hoping that Ayité can link up with McCormack and build a formidable partnership at the club.

So…Fulham fans, what do you make of this move? Leave thoughts and comments below!
