MK Dons have confirmed the signing of former Arsenal midfielder Chuks Aneke.
Aneke joins from Belgian side Zulte Waregem who play in the highest division in Belgium, the Pro League. Who he joined following the expiry of his Arsenal contract in 2014.
He will be no stranger to the Football League, having had numerous loan spells with English clubs such as Stevenage, Preston North End and Crewe Alexandra. He had 2 separate loan spells with Crewe, in which he scored 20 league goals over 2 seasons.
Chuks Aneke is currently injured however, he suffered a cruciate ligament injury and isn’t expected to be back in action for at least three more months.
The 23-year-old forward has also represented England at Under 19 level, as well as the levels below.
He becomes MK Dons’ fifth signing so far this summer, following the likes of former Millwall defender Ed Upson and Wales international George Williams to the Stadium MK.
