QPR midfielder Daniel Tozser has left the club with immediate effect, the club’s official website has confirmed.
In a short statement, the club simply stated that the player had left, and wished him well.
The 31-time Hungarian international played 17 times for the Rs during his solitary season with them, scoring a goal and claiming two assists.
The ex-Watford man was never a fixture in neither Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink or Chris Ramsey’s first team, and with the signings of Jordan Cousins and Ariel Borysiuk, it is highly unlikely he will get any sort of regular game time at Loftus Road next season. Massimo Luongo and Karl Henry started Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Wigan.
QPR sit fifth place in the Championship, with three wins and two defeats in their five games.
Many expected them to win promotion straight back to Premier League last season, and it’s Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink who is tasked with taking them there at the second time of asking.
The ex-Burton man has already made seven signings this summer, and looks on the way to achieving that goal.
