Done Deal: Crystal Palace defender secures move to League One side

Published

Peterborough have announced on their official website that they have completed the signing of Jerome Binnom-Williams from Crystal Palace.

The 21-year-old is most comfortable at left back but has also played at centre back and on the left side of midfield before.

The former England under-19 international never made a senior league appearance for Crystal Palace but enjoyed loan spells with Forest Green, Southend, Burton Albion and Leyton Orient.

He signed a new two year contract with Crystal Palace last summer so Posh had to pay an undisclosed fee to secure his services. The 6’2” full back signs a two year deal with the League One side.

Binnom-Williams becomes Peterborough’s eighth summer signing, following the arrivals of Paul Taylor, Hayden White, Ryan Tafazolli, Gwion Edwards, Mathew Stevens, Bradden Inman and Andrew Hughes. Manager Grant McCann is looking to build a squad to win promotion and has aimed for a strong summer of recruitment to do so.

Peterborough fans – what do you think? Is Binnom-Williams a good signing? Who else would you like to see come in?
