Sky Bet League Two side Crawley Town have confirmed on their official website that they have extended the loan of Birmingham City defender Mitch Hancox until the New Year.
The 22-year-old has impressed in his loan spell with the Reds, making 11 appearances for the fourth tier side and scoring one goal, which came in their 3-2 win over Leyton Orient back in October.
He will now remain at the Broadfield Stadium until January the 2nd.
Hancox has made 40 appearances for his parent club Birmingham City, including one in the Capital One Cup against Gillingham at the start of this season, but the Blues have agreed for the defender to stay in League Two until January to get some much-needed first team football.
Hancox made his 11th appearance of the season at the weekend in a 3-1 away defeat to high-flying Carlisle United. He has been a regular at left back since joining on loan, and will be looking to get more games under his belt.
Crawley are currently 16th in League Two after the defeat at the weekend, seven points off of the top-six, and 13 points clear of the bottom two.
