Done Deal: Coventry City continue busy summer by snapping up double signing

Published

Coventry City have completed a double signing today to continue their first start to the summer.

Coventry snapped up goalkeeper Liam O’Brien and he was followed through the door by Dominic Hyam.

These two new arrivals become Coventry City’s fifth and sixth summer signings after the Sky Blues wrapped up deals for Michael Doyle, Marc McNulty, Rod McDonald and Liam Kelly already this summer.

Liam O’Brien arrives on a free transfer, signing a two year deal.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper has had spells at Barnet, Brentford, Dagenham and Redbridge and Portsmouth and his arrival could mean that soon-to-be free agent Lee Burge could be on his way out of the Ricoh Arena.

Dominic Hyam also arrives on a free following his release by Reading.

The 21-year-old is a centre half who has spent time on loan with Dagenham and Redbridge, Portsmouth and Aldershot.

The length of the former Scotland under-21 international’s contract is not stated.
