Coventry City have agreed a deal to sign Seattle Sounders midfielder Andy Rose after he spent some time training with Tony Mowbray’s side, the club have confirmed on their official site.
The 25-year-old has spent the last three years playing in the MLS following spells in college football with Ventura County Fusion and Seattle Wolves but he actually spent his youth career with Bristol City.
Although he was born in Australia, he moved to England at a young age but his footballing career did not really take off until his move to Seattle in 2012.
He leaves the club after playing 25 times in the league this season as well as playing in the MLS play-offs and the US Open Cup.
