Chesterfield have confirmed the signing of Burnley defender Tom Anderson, their official website has confirmed.
Anderson has yet to make his first team début for the Clarets, and will be hoping he can impress at Chesterfield and force Sean Dyche in to considering him for his own first team plans.
The 22-year-old, who stands at 6 foot 4, has signed a deal until the end of the season.
Manager Danny Wilson has been busy today, and Anderson becomes the 3rd signing of the day for the Spireites, joining Conor Dimaio and Gary Liddle who signed earlier in the day.
The defender has had a few spells on loan, and he made 8 appearances on loan for Carlisle during last season.
He will be hoping he can win a place in the Chesterfield first team as the South Yorkshire club look to avoid relegation to League Two. They currently sit just above the relegation places.
