Done Deal: Cardiff City secure deal for Premier League man

Allan McGregor has joined Cardiff City on-loan for the rest of the season from Premier League side Hull City, reports the Tigers’ official website.

The 34-year old has failed to make an appearance this season and has just returned from a back injury he sustained in the summer.

The Scottish international goalkeeper has been with the Tigers since 2013, and has made over 100 appearances for the club, he joins the Bluebirds looking to gain some match fitness.

Neil Warnock’s side are currently 18th in the Sky Bet Championship, nine points above the relegation zone.

This is stark contrast to when Warnock took over in October, when the club were in the relegation zone with just eight points.

McGregor could make his debut this weekend, with Cardiff hosting Burton Albion on Saturday.
