Bradford City boss Phil Parkinson has moved quickly to add to his squad following an injury crisis by adding winger Kyel Reid to his group from Preston North End.
The club broke the news on their official website this afternoon that the winger, who became a popular figure with the fans during his last spell with the club, has re-joined on loan for a month.
Reid departed West Yorkshire in 2014 to join Preston North End and featured 14 times for the Lilywhites last season as they won promotion to the Championship.
Following promotion Reid’s opportunities to play first-team football at Deepdale have been restricted and he has now been allowed to move out on loan.
Bantams boss Parkinson has been keen to add a wide player to his squad following injuries to Paul Anderson and Josh Morris, and he will no doubt hope Reid can help Bradford get their season kick started after an indifferent start.
The club make the trip north tomorrow to take on Rochdale in a battle of the roses at Spotland.
Bradford fans.. What do you make of Reid’s return? Is this a good signing for the club? Will he have a big impact on the team’s fortunes? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
